For Alice and Sam’s 25th wedding anniversary, the couple wanted to do something different to mark the occasion and celebrate with their friends and family. Usually, the pair enjoy a meal out or a takeaway, but this year they wanted to hire a caterer and enjoy an evening of entertainment and good food with 50 of their closest friends and family. For the catering, Hog Roast Tickhill was hired, as Alice had previously enjoyed one of our menus at a wedding in 2021. She knew that we are a reliable team and always provide a great menu! For this event, our catering manager Steven was hired to provide our formal dining package, which would be a great addition to the evenings’ celebrations.

Our catering began with a delicious round of starters, consisting of homemade soup of the day and fresh bread. This dish was enjoyed by all of the guests and was a great introduction to our catering.

Hog Roast TickhillFollowing the starters, we served a delicious main course of roasted sirloin steaks and all of the traditional accompaniments. This was a luxurious and delicious main course, especially with the roasted baby potatoes and glazed vegetables on the side. This dish was chosen as it is one that the couple love to enjoy on their date nights and it was great to see them enjoying it on their anniversary.

To end the meal, Hog Roast Tickhill provided a selection of desserts, including profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding. Both choices were served with English cream and berries, as well as a hot drinks service.
