A local function room in Doncaster was preparing to host its first-ever comedy night when they reached out to Hog Roast Wadworth to hire us to cater for the event. Several comedians had been hired to perform at the event, including a couple of local names and one headlining act. During the interval, our catering manager Steven and his team would be serving a delicious buffet menu to the guests, in the form of a classic hog roast. This menu always goes down a treat as it is efficient to serve to large groups and is filled with tasty dishes!
On the day of the event, Steven and the Hog Roast Wadworth team arrived at the function room with plenty of time to prepare for the 7:00pm mealtime. We began by setting up our catering station and getting to work on roasting the hog. Once the meat was cooked to perfection it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls. The rolls were accompanied by crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and fresh applesauce, allowing guests to create their ideal evening meal. Our catering went down a treat during the interval, with guests lining up to get their fill. There was something for everyone to enjoy and enough for every guest to get plenty.
